"SILOHAZE"

Hey everyone,

My project 'Silohaze' is complete. For this piece I decided to do a play on or amalgamation of words if you will. Sticking to my usual theme, 'la femme divine', i wanted to take this painting to new heights. Initially i was inspired by the rate at which speed and/or sound travels. After much contemplation, i decided to combine two words that came to mind, namely silhouette and summer haze, making  "Silohaze" my end result.
And so, next on the list..i'm thinking, lights in the distant dark...or sound frequency..  something along these lines. Any suggestions, please feel free. I'd love to hear what your thoughts are! What would you like to see in a painting..? Happy painting everyone!

A FEW YEARS BACK, 6 to be exact :)

Hey everyone!

Thought i might upload a previous piece i did for a friend in South Africa a couple years back. This was an anime character by the name of Goku - from 'Dragon ball Z'. Some of you may be familiar with this cartoon series.

Above is a three piece canvas spread that now resides on a large living room wall. Once completed, i was actually so blown away by its' impact on the space, that i never really let go of it. And so now, i'm working on the new piece as you can see from my first post. I've had several requests from people locally here in Nashville as to weather or not i can do this art form, and i'm happy to report a yes to that. Hopefully i will have at least two more pieces done by the end of the year, but that might be pushing it! lol oh well, here goes nothing! Happy painting.

'Guitar Mania' - Abstract complete

Hi Everyone,
I thought i might take the time today to add my abstract painting, "Guitar Mania".
This is my very first free-throw abstract. I wanted to explore house hold sample paints that i purchased at Home Depot. This was definitely a lot of fun, but very time consuming. I had a time crunch of one month as it was a gift for my husbands' home coming from abroad. I was up late many a night.
The process started with a three layer pvc base coat. Once it was dry i went crazy with spray bottles and drizzling. This was fun and fast. Last, i filled in between the lines with a neutral so as to have the painting blend perfectly with its surroundings. The best way to do this is through adding a neutral. So here is the end result. I highly recommend you try this at home if you have never tried it. Just remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. Have fun painters!

'Glamazon Cowgirl' - Anime Inspired Painting

Hi Everyone!

My new painting 'Glamazon Cowgirl' has commenced. This is quite the challenge for me as it is my very first anime themed painting. Normally i like to focus on realism, but this time i want perfection. I will begin filming next week, and i am very excited to share this lengthy process with you all. Stick around xxx
