Hello friends,

I'd like to introduce to you my new favorite, titled "SnowQueen".
Medium: Oil on canvas

She took approximately 3 months to create but was an absolute labor of love.
Fierce and unique.
I'm in love with the endless play creating hair has to offer.
I move the brush as I please and vicariously live through my art.
If colored hair dye lasted longer than two weeks without the
need for cold showers in order to maintain the color
then this would be me.
I love big hair!
Thank you for visiting my blog!
Giclee prints of all my artworks are available upon request.
Take care x

Autumn update!

Hi everyone,

So it appears to be the last week of autumn and somehow the rapidly approaching snowy season has become the perfect inspiration for my new work.
This is another painting I will add to my "Mood Extraction Abstractions" series and this time around I'm doing four colors: White, Silver, Black & Bronze.
The reason for the scarf over my face is because I am working
with highly toxic metallic paints. Not the easiest thing but soon I'll be done
with the silver and on with Black. Very excited about this one! Hope you all enjoy. xXx

"Rose" 2009

This is piece created for my mother.
For years she requested that I paint her flowers and so finally I
designed this piece now adorning her bedroom wall.

Abstract 2011

This is a piece I did for a client in Melbourne, Australia back in 2011
I believe it was a 50" x 50" Oil on Canvas.

"Cloud Life"

A new abstract for a sunny passage or well lit room.
Adorned with circular light reflecting crystals,
this piece imbue's serenity and calm. Oil on Canvas

"Emergent"

Greetings,
This painting is the first of a brand new abstract series I created about 6 months ago.
"Mood Extraction Abstractions"
In essence it is simply another expression of fun and freedom.
This series is purely expression of emotion.

Glamazon update - Oil on canvas.
The last layer of skin in the leg area is now complete.
This week i will paint the last layers of skin in the upper body area and i'm
hoping to have the background completed by the end of the month!

Here is an update on my "Glamazon" project.
Inspired by cowgirls and manga art,  this painting is not yet complete.
I have yet to decide on the background and in her hand will be a spas 12 shotgun.
I'm going for a cowboy slash futuristic cartoon character look.
Would you like to be a Glamazon?!

Speed Painting "Wesson"

"Wesson"

                                                                    Greetings,

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year's to all!
Today's post is all about a labrador named "Wesson". Part of the new experimental impressionistic direction i have taken. I was commissioned to create Wesson by my good friends Dawn and Paul. Wesson was an absolute delight to paint and i look forward to more pups from here on out as this painting has sparked the interest of three other clients all in one week! Thank you and have a great New Years everyone.

"HEATHER DIVINE"

Hello again. This is a painting of one of my dearest friends in South Africa; I have titled it "Heather Divine".

This painting was a challenge for me, as far as construction goes. Exacting the fundamental essence of a perfectly mirrored original form, subsumed the majority of my creative efforts for an entire month.
Size 30'' x 30'' oil on canvas.

"PAUCILOQUY STANCE"

Greetings,

I'd like to introduce to you a new piece I finished two days ago. This is the first painting in a new series I have begun. Originating in the form of an exercise, this process was simply to allow myself freedom of expression. As an artist specializing in realism, I tend to leave very little room for inaccuracies, therefore, with flexibility in mind, I chose to rebel against my boundaries of perfection and to simply just have fun.
